DescriptionThis infrastructure is a plant lipids and hydrophobic polymers characterization platform.

This scientific platform aims at supporting international projects, especially involving Southern countries, at the interface between plant sciences and the biotransformation of plant lipids and polymers.

The platform is mainly based on two analytical chains (A4FMALLS- ICP-MS and comprehensive GCxGC-MS), associated with the competences and the equipments of the hosting group (Agropolymer Engineering and Emerging Technologies - Microbiological and Enzymatic Biotechnology of Lipids and Agropolymers team).

The platform provides tools and scientific support for:

- the study of molecular diversity and characterization of lipids and hydrophobic macromolecules from plants

- the speciation of mineral compounds potentially associated.
